Appearance: Humans come in all shapes, sizes, and colors. They can be very short or very tall, though they are generally between four feet and seven feet five inches tall. Their hair and skin colors vary widely, but Karattans tend to have dark hair and pale skin.

About their Home: The humans of Karatta live in the village of Karrattan. Located on a large lake, Veronai's Oasis, it has the only port other than the Gnome's at Ofastanoalian. The village is as dangerous as most of Karatta. The village is surrounded on the other three sides by a dangerous jungle sarcastically called Zekat's Garden.

Personality: Other races describe them as unpredictable, devious and greedy.

Profession Choices: Commoner, Enchanter, Summoner, Necromancer, Monk, Armsman, Witch Doctor, Gypsy, Hell Raiser, Dark Priest, Rogue

Professions Humans do well as: Humans do well at most professions because they are so well rounded. However, Merchants, Monks, and Armsman would be good choices. Humans can choose the following professions: Commoner, Enchanter, Summoner, Necromancer, Monk, Armsman, Witch Doctor, Gypsy, Hell Raiser, Dark Priest, Rogue.

General Observations: Humans are diverse in all areas of their lives. They have many different features and can do well in almost any profession. Humans are also the only race that can chose to be a Monk.

Due to their diversity and marked unpredictability, Humans are one of the hardest races to classify or about which to make absolute observations. One human may be one way, while another is the opposite. While this is true, it is also apparent that the effect of the Rift on the humans of Karatta causes them to be more 'evil' than not.
