faction_smallJust released 03/11/2010 - Factions allow players to build their reputation (or ruin them!) with various races and organizations in Xaltoria. Faction at this time can only be gained or lost by quests, but this will change in the future. There are items that require you to have a minimum faction to wear, and those that provide faction when you wear them. There will soon be faction requirements to claim property within the domain of certain factions as well as special faction quests that will give the players access to participate in story line quest lines as well as earn special items!

Appearance: Tree Elves are a bit shorter and more stocky than their ancestors the High Elves. Ranging from four feet to five feet five inches tall, they are generally very lean and muscular. Their skin is golden to dark brown, and their hair is blonde to dark brown. Although the Tree Elves have elongated and pointed ear, they are somewhat shorter and more rounded than those of the High Elves. Their features are well defined.

About their Home: Tree Elves can be found in the northwestern reaches of Lazaron in the tree village of Qwaylan. The entire village is located in the oldest and largest treetops of most ancient part of Jenivah's Recluse and is a marvel of adaptation. Using their uncanny magical connection with the land, the Tree Elves have managed to convince the trees to grow around their structures resulting in a highly dependable and almost invisible village.

Personality: Other races describe them as reclusive, quiet, fast, dependable and loyal.

Profession Choices: Bard, Ranger, Druid, Rogue, Armsman or Commoner

Professions Tree Elves do well as: Tree Elves do well as Rangers, Druids and Rogues. Tree Elves can choose to be a Bard, Ranger, Druid, Rogue, Armsman or Commoner.

General Observations: The Tree Elves are extremely agile and dexterous which, combined with their accurate eye sight, makes them formidable archers. They are not overly strong and are generally quiet and prefer to stay near their homes or in the forests. Their connection with nature makes them natural druids and unmatched in scouting abilities.
